Getting Started - Watch videos about Rhino (excluding Grasshopper)

Note there are videos for Windows or Mac version of Rhino
Watch and follow the video tutorial:
Rhinoceros webinar: Part 2

Exercise files can be downloaded from:
http://wiki.mcneel.com/_media/rhino/introrhinofiles.zip (download and unzip the zip file)
Note the user interface of Rhino 8 is partially different than the one in the video.Submission:
Save model files that you viewed and modified based on the video instruction, and the new files you created during the exercise into:
_Homework1_YourFirstname_YourLastname_folder.
Zip the Homework1_YourFirstname_YourLastname folder into Homework1_YourFirstname_YourLastname.zip.
Submit the zip file to TAMU Canvas: https://canvas.tamu.edu/
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Exercise folder name | Homework1_YourFirstname_YourLastname |
| File to submit | Homework1_YourFirstname_YourLastname.zip |
| Submit to | https://canvas.tamu.edu/ |
| Due | 1/29, Monday, 10:00 PM |
NOTE about alternative submission methods:
- Canvas - will be very helpful for the instructor to organize homework submission (should be used whenever possible, unless the website is not working in rare cases).
- Only if Canvas is not working, share your file using Google Drive with wyan 'at' tamu.edu (my tamu email is my account) with email notification by the due time (you can get free Google Drive with your TAMU account). After submitting through Google Drive, you should also submit your files to Canvas when it is working again, so that your Canvas submission is complete, which will be needed for project grading.
- Please do NOT email your homework files as attachments because they can be very large.
